Robert E. McDonald 84, of New Bedford, passed away on Saturday, June 24, 2017 at Care One in New Bedford.
Born In New Bedford, he was the son of the late Louis McDonald and Claire (Lemos) McDonald.
Robert is survived by his cousin and cousin inlaw and caretakers, Sandra and Mark Lefever of New Bedford.
Robert served his country proudly and was a veteran of both the Navy and the Army reserves.
He worked for years in many companies notibly in maintenance at Sunbeam Bakery, at Stop and Shop and at Tobey Hospital. He also was volunteer of the year at the YMCA.
Per Roberts wishes he will have his burial, private at a later date.
