Robert J. (Bobby T.) Tisdelle, 75, of Acushnet passed away peacefully at his home with his loving family at his side, on Friday evening August 17, 2018.
He was the beloved husband of Dianne R. (Brunette) Tisdelle.
Born in Acushnet, MA he was the son of the late Joseph H. Tisdelle and Rachel (Masse) Tisdelle. Robert is survived by his wife and children, two sons; Andre Tisdelle and his wife Laurie of East Freetown and Marc Tisdelle and his wife Heather also of East Freetown, and a daughter; Michelle Drew and her husband Donald of Falmouth. Robert was predeceased by his brother the late Joseph A. Tisdelle and he is survived by his four sisters; Pauline Chmielewski and her husband Robert of CA, Denise Branco and her husband Antonio of Assonet, Jacqueline Vardo of New Bedford and Marie Tanguay and her husband Gerard also of New Bedford. Robert also leaves his former wife Jeannette Tisdelle. He was the proud grandfather of 8 grandchildren; Steven Clark and his wife Kanlan, Tiffany Petrillo and her husband Ray, Stetson Scribner and his wife Cipriana, Alexa Scribner, Hunter Scribner, Theodore Tisdelle, Camryn Tisdelle and Brent Tisdelle and 2 great grandchildren; Brody Petrillo and Lucas Clark. Robert also leaves behind several nieces and nephews.
Robert was a veteran, having served his country proudly in the United States Army National Guard. He was a talented machinist and the owner of Bobby T.’s Machine Company, Inc. He also served as a collector for his Church, St. Francis Xavier, and played golf at Reservation Golf Course. He loved to play and referee ice hockey. Everyone just loved Bobby T. He had an infectious smile and a wink in his eye for all.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend his Mass of Christian Burial to be held at St. Francis Xavier Church, 125 Main St. Acushnet, MA 02743, on Thursday August 23, 2018 at 10:00 am.
