Russell Lackie Obituary
Russell K. Lackie, 57 of New Bedford passed away on Thursday May 9, 2019 at the Vibra Hospital in New Bedford.
Born in New Bedford he was the son of the late Thomas Andrew Lackie and the late Dorothy Lorraine (Marlow) Lackie.
Russell is survived by his siblings; Thomas Lackie and his Fiance Tina Andrade of Acushnet, Douglas L. Lackie of East Freetown, Robbin Eusebio and her husband Scott of Maine, and Dottie Jackson and her companion John Azzolina of New Bedford. Russell was predeceased by his other siblings; The late Daniel G. Lackie, the late Arnold B. Lackie, the late Lorraine G.Young and the late Judith M. Moereels.
Russell worked for years as a truck driver, noteably for Shannon Brothers, he enjoyed collecting model trucks, and also ceramic pigs......lol. He liked drag racing, and he was a very hard worker. He was a very kind hearted soul, who would do anything for anybody.
A Celebration of Russell's life, will be held at a later date.
