Sadie Mary Cambra

Sadie Mary Cambra 97, of Assonet passed away peacefully at Island Terrace Nursing Home in Lakeville.

Born in Freetown, she was the beloved daughter of the late Manuel Cambra and Jesse (Lopes) Cambra.

Sadie is predeceased by most of her family, her daughter the late Loretta M. Moniz, her siblings, a brother the late John  Cambra, and her four sisters; the late, Bella, Ella, Georgiana and Mary.

Sadie is survived by her grandchildren; Daniel D. Moniz, Leonard Moniz, Jr. and Robert A. Moniz and her four great grandchildren.

She worked for years as a housekeeper for the Crystal Spring School in Assonet and Sadie enjoyed the most, gardening and puttering outside.

Her services are to be held at a later date.
