Sandra Anne (Sylvia) Cournoyer, 75 of New Bedford passed away on Friday November 20, 2015 at St. Luke's Hospital in New Bedford.
She was the beloved wife of the late Joseph N. Cournoyer.
Born in New Bedford, Ma she was the loving daughter of the late Manuel E. Sylvia and Mary L. Correira. She leaves behind her three loving children, Michael J. Cournoyer of Acushnet, Madalaine A.(Cournoyer) Charette and her husband Paul of Middleboro and Cynthia L. (Cournoyer) Daegele and her husband Rik of Fl. Sandra is predeceased by her brother Emanuel Sylvia and survived by her other siblings, Daniel Sylvia, Tobey DeMello, Ruby Brightman and Corine Gerard.
Sandra was also the proud grandmother of her two grandchildren, Joshua M. Charette and Zachary T. Charette and one great granddaughter Kiera.
Mrs. Cournoyer worked for years as a Domestic Goddess, she so loved her family, her children, grandchildren and great grandchild.
Sandra also had a soft spot in her heart for her dogs, Payton, Nitro and Lucy.
Sandra's services are private and to be held at a later date.
