Stanley B. Goldblatt age 56 of Malden, Ma. died unexpectedly at Mt. Auburn Hospital. Born in New Bedford, he was the son of the late Arthur F. and Carol L. (Adler) Goldblatt. He was the husband to the late Linda (Shoesmith) Goldblatt, proud father of his son Stanley Goldblatt Jr., his daughter Cassandra Goldblatt, and his stepdaughter Jessica O'Brien. Stanley overcame much in his life, and was motivated on his successful journey to recovery by the love he had for his family. He was a beacon of light to those around him, offering support, and encouraging others on their road to recovery. When Stanley was not hard at work, or volunteering at the Bread of Life food Pantry in Malden, he enjoyed spending time with his family, riding his motorcycle, hanging at club 24 in Malden, and encouraging others to get and stay clean at various NA meetings. Stanley was a joy to be around, and was always willing to lend a hand to those in need. Survivors include his children, and his siblings Patti Bradley of Malden, Alan Goldblatt of Marion, Robert Goldblatt of New Bedford, Frederick Goldblatt of Freetown, Linda Lake of New Bedford and several nieces and nephews. He is also brother to the late Peggy Boland. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Bread of Life food Pantry, 54 Eastern Ave., Malden Ma 02148.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend his wake with visitation on Thursday July 12, 2018 from 4pm to 7pm. Stanley's funeral service will be held on Friday July 13, 2018 at 3:30pm, both services are to be held at South Coast Chapel Mortuary, 158 Middleboro Rd ( Rt.18) East Freetown, Ma 02717
