Stephen Nowell 76, of Fairhaven passed away, at his home on Thursday May 23, 2019.
He was the beloved husband of Marjorie "Margie" A. (Oliver) Nowell.
Born In New Bedford , he was the son of the late George L. Nowell and the late Alys (Senna) Nowell.
Stephen is survived by his son; Stephen J. Nowell, Jr. and his girlfriend Kelly, of Fairhaven, and also his two brothers; George Nowell and his wife Carol of Westport and Peter Nowell and his wife Sharon of Maryland.
Stephen was quite the educator and worked for New Bedford Public Schools. He belonged to the Panther's Club and also to the Washington Club. He loved camping, trip to Disney World, concerts, fishing, literature, movies, music, you name it and he did it because he enjoyed living. He was also a Civil War Buff. He also had a very soft spot in his heart for dogs. And all around, well liked guy who will be sorely missed, by many.
Stephen's family are to have his services, at a later date.
