Torrea Hardy Obituary
Torrea A. Hardy 46, of New Bedford passed away peacefully at her home, Wednesday, June 13, 2018.
Born in New Bedford she was the daughter of the late Henry A. Hardy and Donna M. (Avila) Hardy.
Torrea is survived by her boyfriend, Jason Silva of New Bedford, and her children; two sons, Dennis Anthony Soares III of Westport and Jason Silva, Jr. of New Bedford and her two daughters; Brittany Vertentes and her husband Cody of New Bedford and Felicia Martinez also of New Bedford. Torrea is also survived by her siblings, her three brothers; Henry Hardy, Donald Hardy and his wife Stacey, and Nico Hardy all of New Bedford. And her two sisters Brandy Araujo and her husband Nelson of S. Dartmouth and Amy Medeiros and her husband Chad of New Bedford. She was also the proud grandmother of her grandchild; Ellie Vertentes. Torrea is also survived by Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, and many nieces and nephews.
Torrea worked for years as a bartender, including the Wonder Bowl in New Bedford. She liked plants and loved gardening but mostly she loved her family.
Her Wake to which both family and friends are respectfully invited to attend will be on Friday, June 15, 2018 from 5pm to 8 pm, with a service to be held at South Coast Chapel Mortuary, 158 Middleboro Rd (Rt.18) East Freetown, Ma 02717
