Walter Daniel Dacey, Jr.

Walter Daniel Dacey, Jr., 83, of Dartmouth passed away on Wednesday, January 21, 2015 at Charlton Memorial Hospital in Fall River.

Walter was the beloved husband of his late bride, Lola Alice (Brusin) Dacey.

Born in Brighton, Ma he was the son of the late, Walter Daniel Dacey, Sr. and Kathleeen Eustace.

Walter is survived by his children; his two sons, Timothy Dacey of Dartmouth, Walter Dacey III, of Brockton, and his three daughters; Catherine Souza of New Bedford, Patricia Dacey of Ma and Janet Nadeau of MA. Walter is also survived  by his sister; Mary Emma Dacey. Walter was the proud grandfather of his 8 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.

Mr. Dacey was definately a military man, not only was he a veteran, but he served his country faithfully in two branches the United States Army and also the United States Marines. He worked as a custodian for years at the Broad Meadows Jr. High School. Walter loved the New England Patriots and was an avid fan.He also enjoyed looking for artifacts with his sons, he was an old movie buff, He liked to go to Foxwoods and he really enjoyed eating out.

Mr. Dacey's services are to be held At a later date with burial in the National Cemetery in Bourne, with his wife.
